The Nomads Den has been founded by Pim & Veerle as an answer to their struggle finding reliable workplaces in South African nature.
Construction of the Nomads Den is starting per March 2023 and the Den can welcome the first guests per October 2023. The interior will be African chique and focused towards the comfort of our working visitors.

The Den is currently under construction. We can accommodate the first guests per october 2023 and bookings are open from that period on.
There is no staff present at the property. We provide regular cleaning and gardening service once a week. It is possible to book a private chef/butler or increase the cleaning intervals at additional cost.
There are multiple supermarkets only 10 driving minutes away. The Den has a fully kitted kitchen available for your use. So you can prepare whatever you prefer. We offer a service to stock up the Den before your arrival.
Do you not want to cook yourself? There are a lot of quality restaurants and café’s in Hoedspruit town and we also provide a private chef service on request.
We certainly recommend renting a car in Hoedspruit. This enables you to be flexible with your movements and explore the area when you are not working. Car rental is considered to be affordable in Hoedspruit.
The Nomads Den currently only offers one unit with two bedrooms. Hence we can only accommodate four guests at once. For bigger groups we can certainly assist with bookings at other accommodations.
Go on a safari or visit the third largest canyon in the world. There is a lot to do and visit in the Hoedspruit area. We will certainly assist you to get the most out of your free time.
Hoedspruit is a very safe town and The Nomads Den is located in the most secure environment in Hoedspruit. So it does not get much safer than at the Nomads Den.
Yes! There is no dangerous wildlife at the Nomads Den. There are animals like Zebra and Giraffe but no predators. So you can go out for a walk or hit the mountainbike tracks straight from the Den!
There are a couple of estates in Hoedspruit where you can rent accommodation. Like Zandspruit, Raptors View and Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Each estate has its own benefits. The strength of our location is that the security is very capable, we have an own water supply and do not get affected by loadshedding. The location of Nomads Den is very private, on a beautiful river bed and still close to Hoedspruit town.
