The Thirsty Giraffe

The Thirsty Giraffe is also one of the Hoedspruit classics. A true bush pub located just out of town. Just follow the R40 from Hoedspruit to Phalaborwa and after 5-10 minutes you will find the The Thirsty Giraffe sign on your left hand side. They offer lunch, dinner and is often found to be having a fair balance between price and quality. Making it also popular with the locals. 

Our guests from the Nomads Den go to The Thirsty Giraffe for their events (they often have lectures about nature) or just to have a cold beer with some chicken espetada. I personally love, as a local, to meet other Hoedspruit people there, and have a local drink.
